TENNESSEE HOEDOWNERS Chorographers, Director, Critiques
Sherry Cox, director of the Tennessee Hoedowners and her brother, Shannon Glass work hard to give the team the best choreography and music that helps the team be the best they can be. Countless hours go into practice so the Hoedowners can be proud of their performances. Sherry has been dancing for over 30 years and so has her brother. in 1987 she won her first major championship as grand champion female at the International Hee Haw Championships. During this same year Sherry won grand champion duet with Bobby Revis as her partner. Sherry's team also won grand champion Precision Team, Sherry was only 16. every since that time Sherry has been a leader in the clogging world guiding kids from all over the country in the clogging world. Sherry Works with NCHC and CCA. She is a National Instructor CCI certified Judge and so is Shannon. Sherry has produced more championship teams and championship individual dancers than any other single instructor Her team has held a National Championship title for over 20 years and she has had 14 National Female champions which she Critiqued. She has taken her teams all over the USA and Europe During that team championship Shannon was one of the team dancers and has been along her side helping Sherry with all it takes to produce a great team. Shannon creates all of the music that the Hoedowners perform with. Which includes as many as 25 special splices and effects. Shannon is very instrumental in the production of various events and competitions all over the USA. He produces sound and lighting for both CLOG and CCA. He also holds a seat on the Board of Directors of CCA Sherry and Shannon are certified Judges with CCA and NCHC
